Lake Shore Senior High School

Students in Sports Literature, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, and Social Media Marketing took a field trip to the KeyBank Center for an inside look at the home of the Buffalo Sabres. The visit gave them a chance to see how the business, media, and operational sides of professional sports come together behind the scenes.

During the tour, students explored different parts of the arena and learned about the many roles involved in running a professional sports organization. From game day operations to branding, communications, and fan engagement, the experience connected directly to what they’ve been studying in class.

The trip offered valuable real world context and a closer look at careers in sports, entertainment, and marketing. Thank you to Ms. Abigail Widger for organizing the visit!
