Indigenous Leadership and Mental Health Workshop Empowers Student Leaders

Lake Shore Senior High School hosted a student leadership conference focused on Indigenous leadership and teen mental-health awareness. The workshop was led by Dr. Darryl Tonemah and brought together students recognized as emerging leaders within the school community.
Students took part in guided discussions and hands-on activities that strengthened their confidence and practical leadership skills. They explored ways to support their own mental wellness and how to contribute to a supportive environment for their peers.
