Lake Shore Senior High School

The Lake Shore High School Freshman Academy in collaboration with the Leadership in Action class hosted its annual Freshman Teambuilding Boot Camp on Friday, September 26th. Freshmen enjoyed a complimentary lunch and then participated in various physical, social-emotional and critical thinking teambuilding activities that enabled them to work together. Upperclassmen in the Leadership in Action class and freshman teachers class facilitated the stations set up in various locations on the high school campus. It was a beautiful day, and all students enjoyed an alternative way to learn and grow. Lake Shore High School students come from three elementary buildings, a middle school with multiple teams, and various new students who transfer in freshman year. This event celebrates all freshmen coming together with something they all have in common; they will all graduate from Lake Shore in 2029! A special thank you to our Lake Shore administrators and staff for their cooperation allowing the Freshman Academy to continue this great tradition that students will never forget.
