2025 Seal of Biliteracy

The Department of World Language is proud to announce this
year’s recipients of the New York State Seal of Biliteracy.
The New York State Seal of Biliteracy is an official recognition
awarded to high school graduates who have demonstrated
proficiency in English and at least one additional language.
Its significance lies in promoting the study of multiple languages, honoring the cultural and linguistic diversity of students, and enhancing college and career readiness. Earning the NYSSB showcases a student’s communication skills and global competence, making them more competitive in a multilingual world.
